At the Club, the Francisco Mendoza High School student has lived experiences that have strengthened her leadership and social skills. \u201cI volunteered for the Club’s Summer Program and I was also a spokesperson for our organization at the Puerto Rico Capitol during Advocacy Day. These have been two of the experiences that have helped the most in my development, \u201d says the 17-year-old.<\/span><\/p>\n

With the title of Youth of the Year, Gabriela aspires to continue serving as a role model for Club participants while working for causes that she is passionate about, such as conservation and protection of the environment. On a professional level, one of her aspirations is to apply science and the arts to the study and practice of cosmetics. \u201cBeing Isabela’s Club Youth of the Year is a new challenge that will open many doors for my future,\u201d says the math and history enthusiast.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
