Puerto Rico has declared a state of emergency after a series of earthquakes have impacted the island. During these difficult times, Boys & Girls Clubs of Puerto Rico \u2014\u00a0an organization committed to the communities we serve \u2014 joins in solidarity with our Puerto Rican sisters and brothers.<\/p>\n
We are in the process of assessing the situation and needs of our employees and participants, the conditions of our 12 Club Service Centers, and gauging what it will take to resume operations as quickly as possible.\u00a0It is vital now more than ever that we offer a safe space, consistent programming and continue to feed the thousands of children and youth daily after school hours.<\/p>\n
We have activated our recovery plan and we will be updating the information through social media.<\/p>\n
