Collaboration
For 57 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of Puerto Rico, with the help of our collaborators, has created an after-school hours movement and community that promotes the development and learning of thousands of participants. We provide safe spaces from Mayagüez to Vieques and programs that provide the tools to develop the full potential of all participants.
Thanks to the support of our collaborators and volunteers, thousands of boys, girls, youths, and their families are received in our clubs by professionals who help them transform their lives and build a great future.

Volunteering
Volunteering is the base of community service. It is nourished on direct participation and offers lifetime benefits to all parties. It strengthens communities and provides better opportunities for growth and development for a better country.

Our volunteer program offers logistical and operational support and seeks to diversify the opportunities available to strengthen the impact of the organization. It works under the concepts, methods and processes contained in the Puerto Rico Volunteer Law.
Process to apply for our Volunteer Program
Follow these steps for your volunteer opportunity with us:
- Fill out the Volunteer Application here
- Call the Volunteer Leader for a phone interview
- Coordinate a visit to your preferred club with the Club Director
- Complete the Liability Release and Service Agreement
- If you wish to donate materials such as: books, school and sports materials, food, etc., please write to info@bgcpr.org

Voluntario Americorps
The Americorps volunteer contributes to our mission of eradicating poverty while developing professionally with us. Being part of the Americorps program offers you benefits such as:
- Holidays
- Remote work opportunity
- Living Allowance of $675.08 every two weeks
- Scholarship of $6,895 for studies upon one year of service

Our volunteer program is based on the Puerto Rico Volunteer Law and is an active opportunity to give back to the community and integrate. The vision is to provide an enriching experience of sharing knowledge, time, resources and skills with our children and youth.
