Being the oldest of four sisters has motivated the future Architect to become a leader and role model. At Vimenti by Boys & Girls Clubs of Puerto Rico, the tenth-grade student chairs the Keystone leadership group, through which she leads work to support her community, the Ernesto Ramos Antonini residential area: cleaning and garbage collection, visits, and support to the elderly, food delivery in times of emergency … In the future, he sees himself creating and presiding over his architecture firm.
“I am extremely grateful to the Club for their presence in my life. Employees helped my family after Hurricane Maria. Also, they help me when I have a personal situation, and they always give me advice. They also provide me with tools and materials to do my homework. My brothers also benefit from the opportunities the Club gives us”, highlights the lover of volleyball, a sport that she cultivates at the Club.
Kristinialys also appreciates what she has learned at the Club to motivate herself and set herself new challenges such as representing the community and the Club as Youth of the Year.
