Introducing Career Week LIVE for youth exploring careers

(San Juan, Puerto Rico, May 4, 2020) Boys & Girls Clubs of Puerto Rico (BGCPR), a leader in after-school services aimed at helping children and youth to reach their academic, personal, and professional goals,  celebrates Career Week LIVE this week, featuring professionals from different fields who will share their experiences live.

“We know that young people want to know what careers or professions to choose. To help them during this period of social distancing, we use our social networks and technology to offer Career Week LIVE, where youth can connect this week from 3 to 4pm, to talk, ask questions and receive advice from professionals who want to meet them and answer their questions LIVE.” said Patricia de la Torre, director of private alliances at BGCPR.

The special guests for the live conversation are: Carlos Díaz, VP of international operations for CC1 (Coca-Cola bottler); Antonio Busquets, plastic surgeon; Alfredo Torruella, physical oceanographer;  Carlos Pérez, producer- Elastic People;  Louisse Herger, creator and owner of Boutique Hotels, such as the O: live Boutique Hotel;  Armando Colón, contractor and Dr. Marcos Vega, veterinarian.
