CONGRATULATIONS TO PARTICIPANTS WHO GRADUATED FROM HIGH SCHOOL

Ninety-seven (97) high school seniors who are active participants in the educational and career programs offered by Boys & Girls Clubs of Puerto Rico graduated from high school, despite the challenges they faced during this pandemic period. Of these, 99% will continue post-secondary studies to pursue their career goals. 

“At Boys & Girls Clubs of Puerto Rico, we offer our participants a safe and creative place to develop to their full potential and to become leaders who achieve their academic, personal and professional goals. Today, we congratulate 97 participants who achieved a major milestone, graduating from high school. We will always support them on their path as they build a great future as professionals,” said Laura Navarro, Educational Projects Manager with Boys & Girls Clubs of Puerto Rico.   

She added that “we are proud of their hard work, determination and commitment to education, especially during difficult times. They inspire us to provide innovative services and programs to reduce the learning and opportunity gap for vulnerable children and youth. Likewise, we are sure that many great moments await them throughout their journey to become the next generation of professionals and leaders in our country.”   

The list of graduates includes participants from different municipalities in Puerto Rico: Aguas Buenas, Arecibo, Bayamón, Carolina, Isabela, Loíza, Mayagüez, San Lorenzo, San Juan (Residencial Llorens Torres and Residencial Las Margaritas). Their selected careers include: Psychology, Business Administration, Engineering, Nursing, Biology, Criminal Justice, Political Science, Social Work, Forensic Sciences, Physical Education, Preschool Education, Physical Therapy, Accounting, Aviation, Pharmacy, Visual Arts and Tourism, among others.
